Teen Read Week Celebration! - Talk by author Kathy Picciano and Pizza Party

Celebrating the Teen Read Week theme "Books With Beat," Kathy Picciano will talk about her YA novel Imagine, writing, and the Rolling Stones this Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m..

Via Italia!  Culture Club is visiting Italy this month!

Join us for a multimedia experience, with a virtual tour of Italy combined with music and stories.

Stay for a craft and the most beloved part of our program: The Food!

Special guests this week will answer all of your questions about one of Europe's most colorful countries.

Open to children Kindergarten and up.

This program is free and open to the public; you do not need a library card to attend.

We're back!

Storytimes are back in the Multipurpose Room in Maitland Public Library!

Our storytime theme this week is Let's Explore!, in conjunction with Columbus Day.  Enjoy stories, songs and a coloring sheet for babies.

It's time for Second Saturday!  Today it's all about crafts!  We're getting out all of our card making supplies to make spooky greeting cards.  Come in and join in the FREE fun!  Open to all ages, and you do not need a library card to participate!  See you there!

READing Paws this Saturday at Maitland Civic Center!

Join us and our nationally registered therapy dogs this Saturday, October 9th, anytime between 1 and 3pm for READing Paws!  Read to our adorable four-legged friends in a no-pressure, non-judgemental environment where kids can practice, reinforce and build reading confidence.  Free and open to the public; you do not need to be a Maitland library card holder.  Children must be in Kindergarten or up.
